- The hotel beds are like sleeping on a hard floor...they are not anything like mattresses as we know them.
- Our hotel is on the 10th floor...the view is fascinating!
- I've never been in such a clean hotel. The marble floors on the entry of our room shine like I've never seen.
- To get electricity in our hotel room, we have to put our room key in a reader/holder which we remove when we leave.
- Cars constantly honk at each other. I mean CONSTANTLY. I woke up during the night hearing tons of honking. They are used like a turning signal, we guess.
- People crowd on the buses so much that it looks like they are sitting on each other.
- People are always in a hurry. Always running to wherever they are going.
- There is no personal space as we know of it.
- People stare and double take when they see us. From the back, they don't notice DH with his black hair, but me, well, that's another story! I didn't notice it much as I was too busy yesterday looking at the buildings. But DH noticed.

James 1:12 - Anyone who meets a testing challenge head-on and manages to stick it out is mighty fortunate. For such persons loyally in love with God, the reward is life and more life. (MSG)

I love all the little details. It really sounds like you are enjoying your trip.
Hotel tip...the key to keep lights on thingy...some times when you remove the key to leave then the a/c or heat will shut off, simply fold up some paper and stick it in the slot your key goes in...works like a charm! What an experience you are having...asian countries are so interesting! I can only imagine the excitement going through you both right now! How old is Megan? 10 months, right?
